Rules and procedures for drawing up a Declaration of Conformity of the EAEU (CU)

The applicant is a legal entity or an individual entrepreneur registered in the territory of a member state of the EAEU (Customs Union) and is a manufacturer or a representative of a foreign manufacturer.

Each Technical Regulation establishes its own requirements for products based on which the Declaration of Conformity is registered. Responsibility for registration of the Declaration of Conformity shall be borne solely by the Applicant.

Declaration of Conformity, in contrast to the Certificate of Conformity is not drawn up on the printed form, but on an A4 sheet in the form established by the laws of the EAEU (CU) (decision of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission of 25.12.2021 № 293), signed and stamped by an authorized person.

Products that do not fall under the EAEU Technical Regulations (CU) may fall under other mandatory systems or require another type of approval document (rejection letter, negative decision).

Data on declarations in state registers

Information on registered declarations of conformity is recorded in the Unified Register of issued certificates of conformity and registered declarations of conformity.

Each state maintains its own Register, the data from which are transmitted to the Unified Register. In the Russian Federation the Register is maintained by the Federal Accreditation Service and is located at https://fsa.gov.ru/use-of-technology/elektronnye-reestry.
