Obtaining Uzbekistan certificate of conformity
When certifying imported products, the following documents must be submitted:
- A copy of the regulatory document for the manufactured products (if any);
- a sample of product labeling or product information;
- A copy of the shipping document with a note on arrival in the customs territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan (waybill, invoice, invoice);
- if there is and in accordance with the requirements of the ND, a copy of the hygienic certificate containing the results of tests in the laboratory of the state sanitary inspection body and information about other requirements established in the ND (veterinary and phytosanitary certificate, environmental certificate).
When certifying manufactured products, the following documents must be submitted:
- A copy of the regulatory document for the manufactured products;
- a sample of product labeling (product information);
- if there is and in accordance with the requirements of the ND, a copy of the hygienic certificate containing the test results in the laboratory of the state sanitary inspection body and information about other requirements established in the ND (veterinary and phytosanitary conclusion, environmental certificate);
Process
After analyzing the application and the submitted documents, the OS makes a decision on certification. Not later than 2 business days after the decision is made, the OS carries out the selection and identification of product samples with a visit to the place of production during certification of domestic goods and the customs zone.
Sampling of products is made out by the act on sampling and samples, one of which is handed to the applicant, the other in the public sector, the third copy to the customs warehouse employee during the certification of imported products.
Samples are transferred to the AIL for certification testing.
The applicant, at his discretion, may submit to the OS the technical characteristics of the certified products, as well as test reports conducted during the development and putting the product into production, or test documents performed by domestic or foreign testing laboratories accredited or recognized in the accreditation system of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
In case of negative test results, as well as when submitting an incomplete set of documents, the OS issues an opinion to the applicant on the refusal to issue a certificate of conformity, indicating specific legislation. The certificate of conformity is issued to the applicant within two business days, and when conducting an OS survey of production - within five working days from the receipt of the OS test results
When certifying products of local production, the OS conducts surveys of the state of production, in which the conditions of production are examined, compliance with the technological regime and instructions, metrological support (calibration) of measuring instruments and production equipment and other production processes, in accordance with the requirements of the Rules for certification of homogeneous products and the corresponding OS procedure . Based on the results of the survey, an act is drawn up.
OS after reviewing the test protocol (s), inspection of the state of production and the documents submitted by the applicant with the application, issues a certificate of conformity or refuses to issue it.
The certificate is issued in the state or Russian languages. The issued certificate of conformity is registered in the State Register of the NSS Uz. The certificate is valid only with a registration number. The form of the certificate of compliance is established by the NSO.
The certificate of conformity is issued to the applicant within two business days, and when conducting an OS survey of production - within five business days from the receipt of the OS test results.
The certificate of conformity is issued for imported products for the expiration date of the products, and for mass-produced products - for 3 years.
Certified mass-produced products (packaging, packaging and accompanying documentation) are marked with a conformity mark under the responsibility of the manufacturer.
The OS, which issued a certificate of conformity for mass-produced products, conducts at least once a year an inspection control audit of certified products in order to confirm its compliance with the requirements established during certification. According to the results of inspection control, the validity of the certificate of conformity and the use of the mark of conformity can be confirmed, suspended or canceled.
