The technical regulation of the Customs Union TR CU 028/2012 On safety of explosives and products on their basis was adopted to set the rules for the protection of life, health, the environment and property. It contains mandatory safety requirements for explosives and products based on them, as well as the processes of its manufacture, application, storage, and transport. It also serves to prevent misleading actions against the consumer. The technical regulation TR CU 028/2012 should ensure a uniform application and enforcement of the requirements for explosives and products on their basis in the customs union. It also serves to ensure the free movement of goods.

The conformity assessment process

The conformity assessment according to the requirements of the technical regulation TR CU 028/2012 On safety of explosives and products on their basis is carried out exclusively in the form of an EAC Certification.

The explosives certified according to TR CU 028/2011 must be marked with the EAC marking before launch. The marking shall be affixed to the packaging and the directions for use.

Period of validity of EAC Certificate

The validity of the EAC Certificate for explosives and products on the basis is up to 3 years.
