The technical regulation TR CU 002/2011 On safety of high-speed trains includes mandatory safety requirements for newly manufactured (or modernized) high-speed trains and their components, which are suitable for use on public and non-public railways with a spur width of 1520 mm and top speed of up to 200 km/h in the field of EAEU. The TR CU 002/2011 aims to ensure the uniform application and enforcement of the requirements for high-speed trains, their components and infrastructure in the Customs Union. It also serves to ensure the free movement of goods.

Conformity assessment process
The conformity assessment with the requirements of the technical regulation TR CU 002/2011 On safety of high-speed trains is obligatory and shall occur in the
following forms:
EAC Declaration
EAC Certification
TR CU 002/2011 On safety of high-speed trains
The products, which conformity with the requirements of TR CU 002/2011 has been confirmed, shall be marked with the EAC sign of the Customs Union. The placing on the market of products without corresponding marking can be punished with a fine or with a confiscation.
Period of validity of the EAC certificate
The certificate for serial production is valid for 5 years.
