TR CU 001/2011 On safety of rail vehicles sets the safety requirements


 Customs Union rail vehicles，TP TC 001/2011 ，CU-TR rail vehicles，EAC rail vehicles，rail vehicles，locomotives TR CU 001/2011，traction units with wagons TR CU 001/2011，passenger car with locomotive drive TR CU 001/2011，freight cars TR CU 001/2011，special rail vehicles TR CU 001/2011

The technical regulation of the Customs Union TR CU 001/2011 On safety of rail vehicles sets the safety requirements, applied to new (or modernized) rail vehicles and their components, which are suitable for use on public and non-public rails with a spur width of 1520 mm with top speed up to 200 km / h on the territory of the EAEU. The technical regulation TR CU 001/2011 should ensure the uniform application and enforcement of the requirements for rail vehicles and their components in the area of the Customs Union. It also ensures the free movement of goods.

According to the TR CU 001/2011 the rail vehicles are:

locomotives
traction units with wagons
passenger car with locomotive drive
freight cars
special rail vehicles
Adopted on July 15, 2011
Entered into force on August 2, 2014

Conformity assessment process
The conformity assessment with the requirements of the technical regulation TR CU 001/2011 On safety of rail vehicles is obligatory and shall occur in the following forms:

EAC Declaration
EAC Certification

EAC marking
TR CU 001/2011 On safety of rail vehicles
The products, which conformity with the requirements of TR CU 001/2011 has been confirmed, shall be marked with the EAC sign of the Customs Union. The placing on the market of products without corresponding marking can be punished with a fine or with a confiscation.

Period of validity of the EAC certificate
The certificate for serial production is valid for 5 years.
